Episode 271: Why Did Constantinople Get the Works? Saints Row Arrived

Kick your week off right with a brand new episode of the ESH podcast! This week the ladies continue their Broke Bitch November video game rants/raves/reviews chatting about the freshly released Assassin’s Creed: Revelations and Saints Row the Third titles from Ubisoft and THQrespectively.

Sure, the multiplayer of Uncharted 3 has yet to be tamed. And, yes, NinJa has yet to play a single wave of Horde mode in Gears of War 3 or even open her copy of RAGE but that didn’t stop her from popping AC:Revelations in ye olde Xbox to take it for a spin. And even though Panda was finally making serious progress (sweet, sweet, progress) both girls got their hands on Saints 3 and, well, you’ll just have to listen to the episode to find out what they think.

Episode 267: This is NOT an After School Special

It is the day after Sunday and you know what that means! It is new ESH episode day. This week we are all games– not gadgets, and it is all good in the hood.

Ninja starts it the best way she knows how by talking games, and this week the game on her mind is Batman Arkham City. From gameplay mechanics to atmosphere and frankly just being able to play as the GD Batman again, Ninjasistah breaks down what you really need to know early on about this title from WB Games. Then Pandalicious closes out the hour with exciting Blizzcon news…even if the news is only exciting to her. And what could that news be? It’s expansion time. Don’t know what that means? You’ll have to listen to this episode to find out.

There will be video. There will be audio. There will be fun of ESH-ic proportions!

Then the show switches to the newly released Bulletstorm and each of the ladies shares her thoughts and reactions to the game, it’s gameplay mechanics, overall aesthetic, and bottom line “is it fun to play”-ness before Pandalicious closes out the show with her Gears of War 3 news and title release anxiety.

Episode 234: This Is What Happens When We Miss a Week

We’re back, and with a new tangent filled episode for your enjoyment. Join the ladies this week as they talk Verizon iPhone, Thuggies, Tron Legacy and the “anime” feature flick, Princes.

NinJa kicks off the show with some thoughts about the recent release of the Apple iPhone 4 on the Verizon network and what she hopes it will mean for those who stick with the device on AT&T before going on to her new-found fascination with the Canadian created Thuggie

That get’s followed up by Pandalicious’ reaction to the Danish live-action/anime hybrid feature film, Princes which is currently available on her favorite streaming service, Netflix. To say that Princes is NSFW is an understatement. According to NinJa, it’s just pure “not safe for watching!”
