"Spec Ops: The Line" Offers New Perspective Into War-Based Gaming

Union general William Tecumseh Sherman once said, “War is Hell.” Gamers who have spent countless hours on any Call of Duty or Battlefield, however, would think that it’s all guns and glory. Perhaps it is time that a game came around to slap these gamers out of their bullet-riddled fantasies and into the harsh realities of serving in the military. That time has come, and it has been presented in 2K Games’ Spec Ops: The Line.

Dubai is in ruins, thanks to a horrible series of sand storms. An evacuation attempt is initiated by General John Konrad and the U.S. Army’s 33rd Battalion, but quickly finds that it’s too much to handle. A message is sent out from Dubai: “This is Colonel John Konrad, United States Army. Attempted evacuation of Dubai ended in complete failure. Death toll: too many.”

Sony Addresses their "Welcome Back" Congestion Issues

For some people (like me) there have been errors on the PSN Store when trying to navigate it. This is the Statement Sony has on their site.

UPDATE: Due to high traffic on PlayStation Store, you may encounter error messages or issues. We advise you to check back a little later and try again.

Note: In order to download two games at no cost, you must redeem them from the “Welcome Back” category. The individual titles are still available for purchase outside of the “Welcome Back Program”

If at any point you can’t find the ‘Welcome Back Free Game 1 or 2’ products, the list of available titles or a game you’ve selected, go to your XMB>PlayStation Network>Account Management>Transaction Management>Services List>SCEA Promotions to complete the process.

PSN Welcomes You Back, But… (Problems)

Just when you thought it was safe to browse the Playstation Network Store…

SO what happens when you send out e-mail to all of your customers, telling them to download HUGE files? You probably get error messages and people who are a leetle bit confused and/or enraged.

Hopefully this error is remedied soon- and that it’s not the symptom of ANOTHER attack.
